Indian Chai Black Tea

Indian chai black tea, commonly referred to as simply “chai” in India, is a spiced black tea beverage that originated in the Indian subcontinent. The term “chai” actually means “tea” in Hindi, but in Western countries, it has come to specifically refer to this particular spiced tea preparation.

Our Indian chai black tea consists of ceylon black tea leaves with a blend of star anise, cloves, and cinnamon.

Indian chai black tea has a warm aroma with a bold, spicy, and slightly sweet flavor. This makes it a comforting and popular beverage, especially during cooler months. It’s often enjoyed plain or with a splash of milk for added creaminess.
